Wednesday, March 4 - We're having babies! The first one arrived at 1:00pm...it's now 7:30pm and we have 9, 6 girls and 3 boys...with more to come! Roxie has large litters...we have lots of work coming up! I'll post updates as the night goes on...

Wednesday, 10:00 pm...THIRTEEN puppies...and more in there...oh my goodness! Mom and pups are all fine...9 girls and 4 boys.

Thursday, March 5 - 12:30 am...We have 14 puppies now, 10 girls and 4 boys. Rox is getting some needed sleep right now. We'll see what the morning brings! I know we are making many potential parents happy since they were expecting to wait for the next litter towards the end of the year! Congratulations! :)

Friday, March 6th...She stopped at 14...thank goodness! They are all doing fine...I had them in two groups taking turns at the milk bar but Roxie crawled up in the basket yesterday to feed the other group...what a good mom! So I put them all with her and she is doing great. I'm sure we'll have to supplement with some puppy milk, but she and the pups are happier all together.

ONE WEEK OLD....Not much to see just yet...they are all doing great. We put collars on the larger pups so we can easily separate them for a few hours during the day to let the smaller ones eat without getting pushed aside. We'll get collars on them all and name them once their eyes open.

TWO (1/2) WEEKS OLD....These babies are adorable...there are so many! We moved them to the puppy room and it is obvious they will outgrow the whelping box very soon. They opened their eyes this past week and they are really trying to use those wobbly legs. They are barking, growling and even playing a bit. Still not alot to see in the pics...except Boykin hair everywhere. Roxie has lots of hair...we usually keep it clipped but she didn't make it to the beauty shop before delivery this time! :)
